Sacha London was started by David Eve’s loving gesture towards his Russian grandfather Alexander (Sacha), an immigrant to England (London). By combining those two words – SACHA and LONDON – David found his footwear firm’s name. In 1968, Sacha London opened its first store, followed by numerous locales in malls and further international expansion.

Originality was the premise of the brand. Quality of workmanship was fundamental. Those motives lead Sacha London to Elda where it found the perfect manufacturer. In 1988, the firm became 100% Spanish owned and the Spanish design element was integrated. The same people that had been making each Sacha London shoe with such care and dedication now ran the firm with the same level of energy and passion.

In 2009, Sacha London took another big step and opened a new factory in Elda. By merging the experience that comes from years of artisanal footwear making with the latest in footwear production technology, Sacha London stepped into the future of shoemaking!

Today, to meet the needs of the North American market, Sacha London has offices and showrooms in Montreal, QC and New York, NY as well as offices in HK and China.  The Spanish designed footwear is produced in high end Chinese factories often times with high quality European materials.  Design and quality is of the essence for the Sacha London brand and the North American product does not disappoint.

The European product continues to be produced in Sacha London’s technologically advanced factory in Elda, Spain. Continuously innovating, Sacha London recently installed IPad stations in its franchise stores throughout Spain. They are loaded with a unique customising app allowing customers to design their own shoes! It is hoped that the venture will be a huge success in Europe and will one day be available to customers in North America.
